Miniature bottles have a history of over 100 years, and while they have been influenced by the world situation and social environment of the time, they have continued to this day. I started collecting miniature bottles in 1974 and have now amassed nearly 12,000 of them. I created this website in September 1998, and relaunched it in July 2025.
With the recent whisk(e)y boom, the value of whisk(e)y has increased at auctions, and the value of rare miniature bottles has also increased. In this situation, I hope that by collecting more accurate information and sharing it with everyone, the culture of miniature bottles will continue and develop for a long time to come.
I would be extremely happy if this site could convey the fun of miniature bottles and whisk(e)y culture to more people.
I would also like to thank Mr. Bert Thomson for providing us with many distillery photos, Mr. Dave Allen of the U.K. Minibottle Club for his informational assistance, and Mr. Hitoshi Mamada of Brains Communication Inc. for the renewal and design of this website.
